Mac Envy ("we," "us") operates the website mac-envy.com and sends email and SMS notifications to customers who sign up for them. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
When you sign up for our alerts, we collect the information you give us: your name, email address, city, ZIP code, and (optionally) your phone number. When you interact with our emails, we collect basic engagement data (whether an email was opened or a link was clicked).
We use your information for one purpose: telling you when and where the Mac Envy food truck will be serving, by email and — if you explicitly opt in — by text message. We also use your city and ZIP code so we only notify you about stops near you.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, excluding the service providers we use to deliver messages (such as our email and SMS delivery platforms), who act only on our instructions.
Text alerts are strictly opt-in via the checkbox on our signup form. Message frequency varies (typically a few messages per month, sent when the truck is in your area). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms & Conditions for details.
Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, honored immediately and permanently. Text subscribers can reply STOP at any time. You can also contact us to be removed.
Your information is stored on secured, access-controlled systems and kept only as long as you remain subscribed (unsubscribed addresses are retained on a suppression list solely to prevent accidental re-contact).
